Ruby founded the company in 2015, with the simple aim to create beautiful handmade leather items that are built to last. An advocate of the slow fashion movement, Ruby Creagh stands for showcasing honesty, sustainability and longevity in our industry. Therefore we believe it is important for you to know the provenance of the materials. We wanted to provide an alternative to globalised, mass-production and instead carefully source materials as close to home as possible.

We like to have transparent working relationships and source materials locally wherever possible. We value the impact of local business exchanges and having direct contact with who we are working with. Sometimes it is more appropriate to source a material from further afield after considering the environmental impact.
Everything produced has an impact but we do what we can to keep this to a minimum. We only use leather by-products, plant based dyes and organic fair-trade cotton.
Ruby studied the time honoured tradition of leather making in the beautiful Yorkshire town of Hebden Bridge. Spending eighteen months researching and refining the collection, the end result showcases elegant functional designs that will stand the test of time.
